Which cookies this site uses, what they are for, and how you stay in control of them.

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores on your device when you visit a site. It lets the site recognise your device on a later visit, to remember your language for instance.
Alongside cookies, this site uses your browser's local storage for exactly one thing: keeping your answer to the cookie banner. Nothing in local storage is ever sent to our server.
We use as few cookies as we can, for two purposes only: keeping the site working as it should, and understanding which pages are useful to visitors so we can improve them.
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not retarget, and we do not share cookie data with any ad network.

The analytics cookies are set by Google LLC through Google Analytics 4, loaded via Google Tag Manager. Google processes that data as a service provider to us, and its own privacy policy applies as well.
The Google Tag Manager script is not loaded onto the page until you press accept. If you decline, it is never loaded and not a single analytics cookie is set.
If you follow a link from here to LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok or WhatsApp, those services may set their own cookies, outside our control and under their own policies.
You can change your choice at any time with the button below. Withdrawing consent stops the analytics script from loading, clears the analytics cookies stored on your device, and brings the consent banner back.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Be aware that blocking all cookies can stop parts of the site working properly. Your language choice, for one, would no longer be remembered.
Because your answer is kept in your browser's local storage, it applies per browser and per device. Clearing site data also clears your answer, so the banner will appear again.
